Victoria L. Eck
Associate Attorney

Victoria Eck received her undergraduate degree from Wichita State University and her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law.

Before joining Penner Lowe Law Group, Victoria spent more than seven years with the Kansas Board of Indigents’ Defense Services, most recently serving as the Deputy Public Defender of the Sedgwick County Public Defender Office. Her practice focused on felony criminal defense, including complex, high-stakes cases involving off-grid offenses and potential life sentences.

Victoria has extensive courtroom experience representing clients throughout criminal proceedings, including jury trials, evidentiary hearings, motion practice, plea negotiations, and sentencing. Her practice has also involved complex constitutional and evidentiary issues.

Victoria’s years in public defense shaped her client-centered approach to practicing law. She understands that clients often seek legal help during difficult and uncertain times and believes effective representation begins with listening, communicating honestly, and making sure clients understand their options. She approaches each case with compassion, thorough preparation, and strong advocacy tailored to the individual client.

Prior to joining the Public Defender’s Office, Victoria worked in private practice, where she gained experience in family law, probate, estate planning, and adoption matters. At Penner Lowe, she draws on her litigation experience and broader legal background to provide thoughtful, practical representation to her clients.

A lifelong Kansan, Victoria has called the Wichita area home for most of her life. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, reading, being outdoors, and attending sporting events.
