Chris C. Randle

Senior Attorney

Chris Randle grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.  He received his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas where he was part of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and the history honors society Phi Alpha Theta.  Chris worked as an intern with the Shawnee County District Attorney in law school with the responsibility of prosecuting crimes of domestic violence.  He worked for the City of Wichita as a prosecutor and as an Assistant District Attorney in Sedgwick County and was part of both the general trial division and the gang and violent crime unit.  Before joining Penner Lowe, he also worked doing structured settlements on workers’ compensation and high liability cases, and as an attorney for Cordell and Cordell handling exclusively family law issues for a wide range of clients.

Chris has spent most of his adult life in the military and has served multiple assignments throughout the world.  Chris served in Baghdad, Iraq in 2006-2007 with the U.S. Army as a legal assistance officer, operational law officer advising commanders on a wide range of military operations, and as a federal military magistrate reviewing search warrants and presiding over preliminary hearings on military criminal cases.  He served his second deployment in 2010, this time as a Civil Affairs Officer in Djibouti, Africa.  In Africa, Chris was the executive officer for a civil affairs company and the civil military liaison to the U.S. Embassy for Djibouti. 

As the liaison, he was responsible for briefing the U.S. Ambassador on civil military operations in the area.   He also served in numerous assignments throughout the United States, including as the Chief of Operational Law for the 1st Cavalry Division, Special Victims’ Counsel at Fort Leavenworth, and as a Fiscal and Administrative Law attorney at First Army Headquarters in Rock Island, Illinois.

Chris currently serves as an Army Reservist and is the Staff Judge Advocate for the 412th Theater Engineer Command in Vicksburg, Mississippi.  Chris has been advising Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines for more than 16 years on issues that affect servicemembers and their families.  He is licensed in multiple states and jurisdictions.  Chris enjoys working out, reading Army history, volunteering, and cheering on his childhood home team the Kansas City Chiefs.
